The scheme is intended to run until 2030, the pace of adoption may see it finished by 2027 or early 2028.

The delivery partner approach allows customers to upgrade appliances at a scheme-based discount through an Approved Providers network; it also reduces back-office costs in running field teams for Approved Providers.
